Sparklez-Style Cleaning Refund Policy

At Sparklez, we take pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services and excellent customer care. Because cleaning services are time-based and labor-scheduled, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our contracted cleaning professionals.

Deposits & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your cleaning appointment.

  • The remaining balance is due prior to or at the start of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Deposits cover scheduling, administrative costs, and holding your time slot.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled service may be rescheduled once at no additional charge.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable and may be charged the full service amount.

Refunds

  • No refunds are issued for completed services.

  • Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction related to:

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Permanent stains, damage, or discoloration

    • Areas not included in the booked service

    • Pre-existing conditions beyond reasonable cleaning standards

Quality Guarantee (Re-Clean Policy)

If you are not satisfied with your cleaning:

  • You must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.

  • Provide photos and a brief description of the concern.

  • We will offer a re-clean of the specific area(s) at no additional charge.

  • Re-cleans must be scheduled within 48 hours of the original service.

Re-cleans are the sole remedy for service concerns and are provided instead of refunds.

Access & Safety Issues

No refunds will be issued if our team cannot complete the service due to:

  • Inability to access the property

  • Unsafe or hazardous conditions

  • Excessive clutter, biohazards, or pest infestations not disclosed in advance

  • Utilities (water/electricity) not available at the time of service

Pricing Adjustments

If the condition of the property is significantly different from what was disclosed during booking:

  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing, limit the scope, or cancel the service without refund of the deposit.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Sparklez to resolve an issue may result in:

  • Immediate termination of service

  • Permanent removal from future bookings
